Landscape Lighting Technician/Installer Aluminight Custom Outdoor Lighting Chicagoland (primarily West and southwest Chicago suburbs) $15 - $25 per hour, based on experience Full-time hours MON-SAT Do you love working outdoors and enjoying nature? Do you like being productive and satisfying customers? Aluminight Custom Outdoor Lighting is searching for a Landscape Lighting Technician interested in illuminating beautiful homes and landscapes. The fitting candidate will install and service outdoor low-voltage LED lighting systems. Experience in landscaping or landscape lighting is a big plus but not required. We will train you! The company is growing fast, and this role may evolve into development opportunities for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Share ideas and strategies to provide elegant outdoor lighting solutions. Speaking with clients to inform and educate them about additional products and services available Conducts installation of light fixtures and transformers, basic low voltage wiring. Burying and installing low-voltage wire throughout the property. Assembling lights and mounting them in prescribed locations. Mounting transformers and connecting wire runs. Clean up the property after each day of installation. Proper care and operate company vehicle in a safe manner. Managing inventories and supplies as needed. Work closely with other team members to reach productivity goals. Assistance with other business opportunities during downtime due to weather issues. Clean and professional appearance, punctual, reliable, and ethical. Ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Landscape Lighting installation experience is a plus but not required. Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening. Able to receive instruction, prioritize, manage time/resources and work independently. Enjoys working outside. Mechanically inclined to operate a variety of tools including drills, saws, grinders, etc. Must be able to dig well with a shovel. Safely climb and utilize ladders up to 40 ft to perform necessary installation tasks. Must be able to perform physical tasks of all types, including lifting at least 70 pounds. Energetic, positive and have a professional attitude. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Implement and adhere to the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Excellent time management skills. Must have your own transportation at times. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Benefits Starting pay based on experience. Complete company training provided. Advancement opportunities.
