We are Hiring Immediately for a Forklift Operator position in an exciting warehouse facility! Come work with 1st Class Staffing! Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Perform tasks safely Ensure area housekeeping requirements are met Abide by all OSHA rules and company safety practices Meet established procedures and productivity, safety and quality standards Must be able to read, write and count Ability to operate forklift safely (sit-down and standup) Ability to work independently and in support of the team Ability to review work area and determine requirements. Conduct daily forklift checks and inspections Ability to use Scanners and printers and follow all SOPS Ability to use radio (if applicable) to coordinate trailer movements with switcher to designated docks Retrieve bill of ladings, shippers and master labels from the trailer and verify parts match Ability to identify, document, and report damage to parts and trailers to supervision Ability to lock out trailers, load and unload parts racks, and pack materials into cages according to SOPs Ability to work in fast paced warehouse environment around moving powered industrial equipment Attendance at assigned work facility Ability to perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor More responsibilities may be assigned upon hire. Job Requirements: Must have at least one year of previous forklift experience and the ability to become certified Ability to understand all safety requirements and regulations (OSHA) Ability to lift 25-75 lbs One year of work experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment, automotive preferred Must be able to read, write and count Demonstrated knowledge and skills beyond basic forklift understanding Requires flexibility and understanding that all staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goal of the warehouse Energetic and highly motivated to succeed Attendance at designed work facility Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Additional information: Benefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance.
