Chattanooga-based doom/heavy metal band HAMMER OF CROM is now auditioning drummers. Focus is on writing and recording original music with a view towards playing live, although we do play a few covers which will be part of the audition process. Bands for reference include Black Sabbath (all eras), Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Pentagram, Saint Vitus, Witchfinder General, Trouble, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Iron Man, The Gates of Slumber, Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road, Motorhead, Manowar, Roth-era Scorpions and more. We do not play grunge, nu-metal, groove metal, djent, alternative rock or rap. This is HEAVY METAL. Practices held on Sunday afternoons and on various evenings during the week in Red Bank, 2-3 times per week. Practices are drug and alcohol-free 24/7/365, so keep that in mind. This is not a worship band. Unless you worship metal. If you are a drummer who is looking to be part of a group of talented musicians with good connections in the industry, we've got that.
