CUMMING, GA — Furkids is moving its cat shelter and headquarters, creating an urgent need for adopters and fosters for cats, animals that find it very difficult to be relocated. To encourage adoption and fostering, Furkids has partnered with the Petco Foundation, announcing Home Before the Holidays, their largest year-end adoption event ever, during this weekend's National Adoption Weekend at select Furkids locations in Petco stores throughout the Atlanta area. From 1-4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Furkids will have cats and kittens available for adoption with special BOGO pricing for cat adoptions at Petco stores in Alpharetta, Buckhead, Holcomb Bridge Road/East Roswell, Sandy Springs, and Smyrna. Puppy and dog adoptions will be at locations in Buckhead and Sandy Springs.
