Description

TEMPE, AZ — Tempe police are asking for help in finding a serial robber who has hit 16 different Tempe-area Circle-K locations. The Tempe Police Department said he steals cigarettes from behind the counter, which is illegal, and cash from the cash drop each time. He typically places the stolen cigarettes in a black or khaki backpack with a black trim. The suspect has been described as a man, 25 to 30 years old and around six feet in height. In some of the robberies, he has worn a red hat with the word 'savage' emblazoned across the front in gold lettering. In others, he was seen on security camera footage wearing a black hat and sunglasses. (Courtesy of the Tempe Police Department.) He has been seen leaving the stores in a light-colored sedan, which police believe could be a late 90s model Lexus LS400. Anyone with information related to the robberies is being asked to contact the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311, or submit a tip online at www.tempe.gov/police.
