TEMPE, AZ — A man was killed after running into traffic on a Tempe freeway, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said Thursday. Officials said the fatal crash occurred at around 11:30 p.m. on the U.S. 60 near Priest Drive. The man had been in a single-car crash and fled the scene. He was hit by a car and died. The department of public safety did not release the man's name or any other details. The driver of the car that hit him was not injured.
