Join Street Dog Hero for a talk on dog behavior plus, prizes and a live animal communication session! Free & open to the public! Ever wonder what your dog is thinking? Ever try to interpret their behavior? Ever wonder how to stop your dog from doing a pesky behavior? Join Street Dog Hero for a talk on dog behavior and typical behavioral issues with Sarah-Anne Reed, a holistic dog behavior specialist with Pack Dynamics, plus Q&A. Free and open to the public, this event will also feature a drawing for $100 Ruffwear gift card, SDH merch, and a free Animal Communication mini-session at the event. What's animal communication? Sarah-Anne will connect intuitively with your dog and ask them questions, which they will then answer by showing her a combination of images and videos in her mind, and she will sense any physical and emotional feelings they wish to share, as she communicates their messages to you! Please don't bring your pup to the event but do bring a picture of your pup and some questions to ask your pup through Sarah-Anne to participate the drawing! You can even just bring a pic on your phone. This event is free. RSVP required. Suggested donation at the door of $5 per person. Beverages will be available for purchase. The event will be held in the upstairs meeting space at 10 Barrel East. We love our dog-loving community and want to keep you safe. Street Dog Hero is a volunteer-run 501c3 non-profit organization (Federal ID: 82-0916174) founded in March 2017 and based out of Bend, Oregon. Our organization's mission is to help street dogs around the world by providing rescue and transportation, medical services, adoption services, awareness, and education. Since our first resuce on April 1, 2017, Street Dog Hero has already saved dozens of street dogs from Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and South Korea. Street Dog Hero has also pulled dogs from overcrowded, high-kill shelters in Texas. In addition, our organization is aiding Three Rivers Humane Society in helping the street dogs living on the Warm Springs Reservation. As our organization contiues to expand, we will be able to help dogs living on the streets in Guatemala, Turks & Caicos, and many other places around the globe. In addition to rescuing street dogs, we have also launched our Junior Hero program to get youth involved in the community. Our Junior Heroes are taught the value of volunteering and giving back to the community. They learn all about non-profits and develop skills to become more successful in life, such as people skills, organizational skills, public speaking skills, and management skills.
