Description
We are seeking high energy, professional Juneau locals, who enjoy working with visitors. This position is part-time and seasonal. Each shift is approximately three (3) hours. Shifts vary and are flexible. Season is April 28 - October 1.
You will share Juneau's dining scene and history with guests as you host them through Juneau. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Passion for tours, visitors, and food
• Restaurant, culinary, cooking skills/knowledge helpful
• Must have clean, professional demeanor and appearance
• Must be punctual
• Must be able to work independently
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly public speaking
• Able to remain calm in an emergency
• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Great sense of humor!
