I have a job, a car and gear. It's not top of the line gear (sorry to disappoint you snobs lol), but it's plenty loud. I can easily be heard during practice and on stage. I don't care much about genre, it just needs to be good enough to enjoy playing and get a positive reaction from listeners. I used to be in an actively gigging and recording local band, but I got tired of them putting image above the music, and playing the same damn set for nearly a year with rarely a change. I played guitar in that band, so unfortunately I don't have anything to share with you to showcase my bass playing. You'll just have to trust me to show up and play well... You know, like we used to do before the internet made it too easy and gave everyone massive egos. I'm old enough to have experienced the rise of Nirvana, but young enough to still mosh to Mastodon. I like it heavy, low, fast, groovy and loud. I'm 420 friendly and I drink, but I don't do any hard drugs and I'm not a bum. I work hard and pay my bills, I just wanna get back out in the scene. Yes, I want gigs and studio time, but I don't want to sacrifice a solid sound just to rush things. Hmu.
