Try something new this winter break and experience snowshoeing 'On the Canal' in the Port City of Oswego. In support of the 'On the Canals' initiative, Oswego Expeditions is teaming up with the NYS Canal Corporation to provide youth ages six and up and their families with an opportunity to experience snowshoeing. Available exclusively during February 21st- February 27th families with children home for the winter recess are encouraged to adopt a sense of adventure, and embrace the winter elements on one or more of our snowshoeing treks on the Oswego Canal. Oswego Expeditions will provide the snowshoes, guide and fun. Trek durations are one hour total and offered three times daily. This is a free event with limited availability. Reservations are required. We encourage participants to arrive 15 minutes early to get situated. Youth participants must wear an insulated snow boot and snow-pants and gloves.
