Description

Herbal workshops, market, plant sale, local food vendors, raffles, and more! Calling all NH herbalists, farmers, crafters, gardeners, artists and environmental and agricultural organizations! Herb & Garden Day is an annual event where herbal educators and seasoned growers from all walks of life will come together to share their unique knowledge and build upon a tapestry of age old wisdom about trees and seeds, herbs and plants, and the power of nature to heal. The event is open to the public. The programming represents a variety of interests and caters to all skill levels – from the curious seekers and intrepid plant lovers to herbal entrepreneurs and natural health advocates, Herb & Garden Day has something for everyone. This year's theme is "Grow Your Roots," building off of last year's theme of "Roots," focusing on diversity, connections, and the ancestors - the roots - of our herbal wisdom. Herb & Garden Day caters to a diverse group of nearly two hundred people who join together each year to learn about the many benefits of plants and herbs, providing continuing education through multi-interest level workshops and a large vendor fair featuring herbs and plants grown by local farmers, herbal products, educational information, artisans, environmental advocacy groups and local businesses. Vendors bring our community together and help support our local economy! If you are a grower and wish to list your plants for pre-order on the Harvest-to-Market website, let us know! *Please note that we are seeking vendors that directly correlate to the natural and herbal community, specifically locally made or grown products. Please no multi-level marketing companies or synthetic ingredients. Registrations will be reviewed on a regular basis and if we determine that your business is not a good fit or if we have too many of the same vendor items, you will be given a full refund. If you have any questions, please contact our Event Coordinator: Jessica Livingston • 603.568.5740 • [email protected] ~~~~~ VENDOR GUIDELINES Vendor Space Please note that there is no indoor space this year. Outdoor vendor space consists of a 10x10 area. If you have your own tent, please bring it. Tents are optional, but encouraged. You must anchor your tent with strong stakes and/or weights to prevent any mishaps if the weather is windy. We are not able to provide tables and chairs. Please bring your own tables and table coverings, along with your display. Vendors may share booth space or purchase multiple booth spaces. Vendor Setup The Event Coordinator will provide you with setup instructions when it gets closer to the event. Vendor Income Please keep your cash box with you at all times. Although theft is rare at events, one can never be too cautious. You are encouraged to bring your own credit card scanner for additional payment options.
