Professional pet sitting company is searching for a team of part time dog walkers and substitute dog walkers, runners and pet sitters. Must live in close proximate to area in which you are applying for. Must be ready to step in when assignments come in. We are currently looking for walkers in Arlington,Annandale, Alexandria & Falls Church: Are you between roles or just looking for a way to stay active and interact with lots of furry friends? Waggy Walkys is looking for pet-loving dog walkers in your area! Most dog walk schedules are Monday through Friday between 11am and 3pm - typically recurring daily walks. We offer work within a five mile radius of your home. Pay is based on the number of dog walks that you complete (not hourly) - our dog walkers can average $16-24 per hour based on their schedule. We also always need people for cat/pet sitting, vacation sitting (client's house), and boarding (your house). DOG WALKER BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Reliable, responsible, and honest 18 years of age or older Ability to handle various breeds and sizes of dogs Ability to walk dogs in all weather conditions DOG WALKER POSITION REQUIRES: -Monday-Friday Availability (usually 10am to 4pm), Mornings, Evenings or Weekends -A working smartphone with internet access -Unrestricted access to your own reliable transportation -Background check In addition to this, prospective applicants must: -Be a zoologist at heart -Have an undying love for animals -Be comfortable with groups of dogs and be skilled in animal behavior -Enjoy the idea of a flexible schedule -Can work independently -Be able to provide references and pass a criminal background check -Possess honesty, reliability, strong communication skills, common sense and good judgment -Demonstrate a keen ability to handle multiple tasks and details -Be adaptable - things happen. We need people who won't unravel when things aren't seamless. -Be in good physical health - You will be walking dogs and sometimes in the rain, sleet & snow! -Have a fluency of the Internet and can check e-mail daily and have reliable internet service -Willing to commit to at least 6 months People with a flexible schedule are welcomed to apply.
