Hiring!!! Food stand on Canal Street during Mardi Gras Looking for a couple more cooks to help in my food stand during Mardi Gras! When: Friday, February 25- Tuesday, March 2nd We are open all day/night so hours can be worked around your schedule as long as you can commit to at least 6 hours shifts. If you want longer hours, we can make that happen too. Cook: frying and/or grilling We have fries, chicken on a stick, funnel cake, steak and sausage sandwiches. If you have never grilled or fried before that’s okay, we’ve taught newbies before that turn into pros! As long as you’re down to work hard, To apply: Please email photo and any experience (if any, not necessary) Attire: Must wear comfortable closed-toed shoes, shorts/pants, tshirt, And most important: baseball hat or something that covers hair. Health department requires hair to be covered. Pay: $10 an hour cash plus tips. A low estimate for tips is $30 a night but our crew always makes more unless we get rained out.
