Charli girl needs a loving home

Hi! I have a 5 y/o 12 pound chihuahua/corgi mix in need of a loving home. I rescued Charli 2.5 years ago but my housing situation is changing and I can't take her with me. She is spayed and up to date on all of her shots and flea preventative. Charli loves sunbathing, snuggling under warm blankets, walks, running on the beach or backyard, hiking and playing fetch. She also LOVES treats and is very food motivated. She is 100% potty trained and knows several commands. She is a rescue and I think had some trauma/abuse/neglect in her past so she does have some quirks but is very loving. She thrives in a quiet and kind environment with consistent boundaries, love and affection. She would do best in a 1-2 person household with dog people who have experience with rescues. She isn't great with kids, cats or other dogs, although with time, she could warm up to a docile larger dog and has before. Finding the right fit is the most important to me, so please share a little about yourself, your living situation and experience with dogs if you're interested. Thanks!
