2 year old (23 months), 30lbs super friendly and lovable French bulldog/ Boston terrier + English bulldog needs a new home. Electric Blue eyes, brindle and white, unaltered male. Friendly, playful, energetic, great with people (adults, teens, kids), other dogs and gentle around cats (once you tell him to be gentle). We moved and can no longer keep him since we cannot give him the space, time, and attention he deserves. He is super smart and easily trained! He is House trained and can be left alone when we go out for short periods and while at work. He doesn’t like being trapped in a crate, but does well around our home alone. Doesn’t chew or destroy things— but with the stress of a new home/people, we cannot guarantee that when you first welcome him home. He knows the following commands: sit, down (lay down), come (recall), extended stay and down, paw (shake), roll over, play dead (“bang”), go (run forward), heal, fetch, leave it and drop it (these two need a little more practice), off (no jumping), home (run to our house when we’re outside). He is highly driven by food and play and is willing to learn. He has a lot of energy from his terrier side. He does well with overnight boarding too if you go out of town. Who we are looking for: a “dog people” family that is willing to give him time, attention, love, more training, and playtime. Preferably a family with a fenced yard and at least one person working from home/ staying home bc he’s super affectionate and gets lonely at home alone. Also, a family with another friendly dog would be great so he has a “sibling.” He loved day boarding and running around with other dogs. He did will when playing with our friends’ young children (3-4 yr old) and does well with our 13 yo. We want to make sure he is going to a fantastic home that will take care of him. There is an adoption/rehoming fee because he is a gorgeous dog and is trained and socialized, up to date on all vaccinations and his annual exam, no medical concerns, and we will be interviewing everyone interested. Those with existing dogs will need to arrange a meet and greet to ensure they get along. Serious inquiries only.
