The Anchorage Ski Club is seeking a supervisor to oversee the tube park at Arctic Valley Ski Area. This position is Thursday-Sunday; hours Thursday & Friday are 12:30-8:30, and Saturday-Sunday 10:30-8:30. Our tubing season runs through early April. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, some leadership experience is required. This is a hands-on position, working constantly with the tube park crew to ensure guests' safety and fun. Duties include supervising the tube park crew, basic troubleshooting, communicating with maintenance staff and management, loading and unloading the tubing lift, shoveling, interacting with guests, and other duties as assigned. Long periods of time working outside are required. Pay is $18 per hour, including a free meal and hot drinks. When possible, tube park staff have the opportunity to take ride breaks during the day. A high level of responsibility and reliability are absolutely required. Reliable, winter-conditions-ready transportation is a must. A background check will be performed on all applicants.
