Description

I have a sweet chicken in need of a new home. She is around four months old and will start laying soon. I am trying to rehome her because her siblings bully her and she is lighter than the rest of the flock. She is a good pet, though she is a bit timid with strangers but will warm up in time (especially if you feed her treats) she is laid back and is good with being held, she has never pecked or scratched anyone. She likes head and chin pets, treats, and hanging out with her human but unfortunately I don't have much time for her and her siblings keep picking on her so I want her to go to a home who can work with her and the rest of their flock so she isn't bullied as much or keep her as a indoor pet (though it would likey be messy at first, there are ways you can potty train a chicken or use chicken diapers). I don't want to keep her in isolation for such a long time because chickens are flock animals and I feel bad for her and most importantly I'm afraid she might starve or get injured if I bring her back into the flock and this continues. If you have room in your coop and time and love to give, please consider adding her to your flock. I will ask a fee so I can make sure the person adopting her is serious about helping her, if you don't have the time to spend time with her just about every day I'm afraid she is not the chicken for you. I really don't want to give her up but I think she is better off with someone who is willing to work with her and give her a better life.
