Description

Hey, I am Zoe and I am a small jewelry business owner of Ryley.Arts. I thought it would be nice to share my story as a deaf teen entrepreneur. Growing up, I always loved the idea of bringing joy to people's faces when they received the items. I also love to make jewelry and that is what makes you. I always think what you wear will always represent who you are :). Since COVID-19 started, I thought I could do something productive. Not only that I always believed in going eco-friendly items. So I thought why not blend all together by setting up a small jewelry business. I started off with my birthday cash and decided to make some jewelry that is eco-friendly, not all of them are, but then I started selling them on the Depop website. Of course, it was difficult to start. It was not easy for me. I do get frustrated while having a business going, as a deaf person, it is hard because sometimes on Instagram, they will have no captions if I want to learn about business tips, but I tried my best to contact people that I know to spread the awareness about my business. Of course, my family and friends are No. 1 supporters out of all. For a while, sales increased and I was thrilled :)) if you guys ever wanted to check out my small business, go ahead! Just a reminder of the day is to believe in yourself and never give up what you love to do :)) Instagram: @ryley.arts Depop website: @ryley05
