Seeking Hard Rock/Metal Drunmer

Meets

Scranton PA

Description

I'm a 37 year old seasoned, experienced bass player looking to start something from the ground up. At first, this will not take up much of your time since I do have other commitments as far as already being in a professional, established band. I am looking to meet up every other week (or once a week if we can) for now until we start gaining some momentum and we start to develop something. If we gel, we can send each other ideas and work on things on our own time. I have a lot of riffs ideas that I cannot use in the current project I play bass for, so I'm deciding to go in the basement, wipe the dust off of all the ideas I have and make them into something. I have a guitar player in mind that will probably track for me if need be, or possibly sit in, but I'm hoping he eventually jumps on board. First thing's first, I'm looking for a solid, hard rock/metal drummer that has professional gear, professional attitude, you're not a narcissist, can take constructive criticism, and can play to a click (drummers will play to a click track in practice and also in live performances). If we decide to do this, whatever we need to do to make that happen, we'll do. Nothing is worse than an inconsistent drummer that plays too fast or too slow and can't keep time. You're the engine and the heartbeat of any band; the most important piece, so I'm getting started on looking for the right person. I'm looking for someone that actually wants to strive to be in a band that will be fun, but carry ourselves like professionals during our performances. I'm looking for the right people to start a new musical journey with. Basically, I'm seeking a band family that I can create something that we believe in. I have a very good connection and a producer that we can record with. So I do have my foot in the door with professional people. If interested, send me a short bio of yourself, gear information, and a sample of your playing or other projects that you work with or have already worked with. I look forward to hearing from you.
