Re-organize the Police, do not de-fund them! The republicans have again seized on words and twisted them to make it seem democrats want lawlessness. What bullshit! No one wants no police! We want a Protective Service Force to replace what has become a borderline fascist organization itself! There should never have been granting of Transactional Immunity for anyone, ever! There should be a civilian oversight board to decide whether police actions are/were correct. You don’t let the fox investigate who killed chickens in the coop, so why do cops police themselves? Because they don’t! Too much military equipment is in the hands of forces unqualified to wield it. If you have it, you make up scenarios to use it. Police do not need military weapons, ever! De-militarize the police! Re-organize the police to be responsive to its citizenry.
