Enjoy a day of health and wellness activities for the whole family including food trucks, games, raffles, music, and wellness! You are invited to a day of health and wellness activities for the whole family! River Region Human Services, Inc. is hosting Community Wellness Fair 2022 on Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at its main campus (3901 Carmichael Ave.). The free event will be educational and fun. It will feature food trucks, games, a bounce house, free giveaways and vendors who will provide resources on healthy living. Our goal is to share valuable information that can help the community physically, mentally and spiritually. Participants will have access to primary care services, mental health resources and much more at the fair. (RRHS) was established in 1972 as a private, non-profit 501-(c)-3 corporation, to provide a comprehensive array of substance abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment services for persons residing in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. John's Counties. RRHS has been licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services since incorporation, is registered with the Secretary of State and the City of Jacksonville as a charitable organization. The mission of River Region Human Services is rebuilding families and restoring communities in Northeast Florida. Our services and programs are categorized into four sections: substance use, mental health, housing and HIV/AIDS testing and education. This includes an array of services such as medication assisted treatment, outpatient treatment, court services, corrections program, residential treatment, transitional housing, pregnant and postpartum women program and free HIV/AIDS testing mobile unit.
