A gathering of Al-Anon Family Group Members with a focus on Native American and First Nations recovery community. After a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, we are holding an in-person event at the Portland Airport Sheraton Hotel this April 29, 30, and May 1st. The NAAC was started in 2017 as a celebration of Al-Anon Family Groups recovery for and by the Native American community affected by alcoholism. We return in 2022 with an event that includes Al-Anon speakers, an AA speaker, and workshops with a focus on a message of hope for all of our relations affected by the disease of alcoholism. This event is hosted by the Oregon Al-Anon Family Groups service structure and EVERYONE is invited to join this special celebration of recovery. Registration is $25 early bird, and $30 at the door. Alateen registration is $10. However, anticipate mask requirements for the gathering to protect our beloved elders. At this time, we have not arranged a banquet at the hotel, but we will alert registrants if that changes.
