That night, I was with a friend. She is a lawyer like me (we aren't dating). It was when we were about to leave when I noticed that you were staring and smiling at me several times as partygoers were dancing beside my table. I thought you were absolutely beautiful, and I really loved your smile. I didn't say hi because I was with a lady friend, and we were about to leave. I also won't lie and say I was sort of nervous. It happened so quickly, that I did not think to approach you and simply say hello. I was interested in speaking with you, but you were also with your family, and I did not want to disturb.
