You are invited to our 4 week Intro to Brazilian drumming series! Since 2013, Samba Colorado has been an educational source for the teaching and sharing of Brazilian dance techniques, from African Brazilian orixa-inspired dances to the explosive Samba Rio Carnaval performance.  And now, our school is proud to announce the return and open call for folks interested in learning, playing, and performing Brazilian percussion techniques.  In our initial 4 week class, you can start learning instrumentation, musicality, and percussion styles inspired by the music of Brazil.  Instruments will be provided and no experience is necessary. This 4 week class will be taught by Professor Michael Paff who has studied and played in Bahia, Brazil and has experienced the next-level revelry of these styles.  Interested? Details below: When?  4 week series starts January 22, 2022, 3:30 PM – 4:45 PM 📍Location: Edit at River North: 3463 Walnut Street Denver, CO 80205. We will be in the open space one door up from the main foyer. You can park in the lot west of the Edit building or there is street parking.
