A majestic snowshoeing experience under the glow of the full moon. Lovers of the moon and experience seekers alike are invited to join us on a Snow Moon Snowshoe Adventure. Enjoy the calming and rejuvenating effects of the light of the full moon. Reflections of light on the water, snow and ice make this adventure truly magical and unique. An excursion that is rare must be shared! Make it a night and join us on our trek after experiencing the downtown district of the port city with a night out to dinner or live music on "restaurant row". Seize the opportunity and make memories exploring into the night. Snow Moon Snowshoe is a free event that supports the On the Canals initiative sponsored by the NYS Canal Corporation. Excursions are recommended for adults or children over the age of 17. Tour embarks on this snowshoeing adventure in all weather from Oswego Expeditions located at the Port Of Oswego Authority Marina at 3 Basin St in the city of Oswego. Ninety minute guide-led treks setting out twice under the full moon at 8pm and 11pm. Snowshoes and trekking poles are provided and reservations are required.
