VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Parents wishing to register their children for kindergarten in Vestavia Hills City Schools can begin the process Feb. 3. Enrollment must be done at the child's school, according to school system officials.
Parents must present the following for registration:
Immunization formProof of ageThree items proving residence: lease, warranty deed, settlement statement, mortgage statement or property tax notice; a power bill and one other item: proof of residency, vehicle registration, a bill or canceled check.Kindergarten enrollment continues through the summer and early fall, while registration, which takes place online, runs from April 6 to May 31 for everyone else.
