You will learn how to create a fused glass "puddle" which will be used to create pendants and earrings in this 2 class event.
For your first of two classes, on Saturday February 26, you will create a fused glass puddle. You will choose your glass colors from our selection of Bullseye 90 COE glass and stack 6-7 layers in a 5"'x5" square in the kiln. The glass will then be fired at1480 degrees for 24 hours, resulting in a full fused glass puddle.
For your second class, on Saturday March 5th from 1-4, you will take your glass puddle and break it into small pieces. You will then take the smaller broken pieces and place them back in the kiln for another full fuse for 24 hours at 1480 degrees.
When you come to pick up your pieces, on Sunday March 6th, you will be provided 5 pendant findings for the larger fused glass cabochons and 2 earring findings for the smaller cabochons.
