Look at patterns in nature, explore seeds, evergreens, bird feeders and much more with garden educator Thalia Flores-Perez. The Horticultural Society of New York presents: Nature Connections for KidsResearch has found that nature exposure and feeling connected to nature provides a feeling of well-being… so put on a coat and explore nature with us right here in Harlem at the Education Center. Led by our educator Thalia Flores-Perez, who regularly visited Riverbank Park as a kid, we will look at patterns in nature, start seeds, explore evergreens, build bird feeders, conduct science experiments and create land art that brings the outdoors in. Hablamos espanol There are just 12 spots per class - so register now! Please note, these classes are just for children ages 6 - 8. SafetyProof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine is required in order to participate in this class and all participants are required to wear a mask at all times.
