Co-sponsored by Columbus Area Early Care and Education Association Co-sponsored by Columbus Area Early Care and Education Association Non-Association Members can attend (1) event annually free of charge! Join Columbus Area Early Care and Education Association for member benefits! Books are very important for young children. A book center can help stimulate children’s imagination and creativity while also building language skills. The book center is a great place for adults to read to children and for children to spend time looking at pictures and interacting with different books. BUT, what about all the other exploration/learning centers? This workshop will discuss book choices for exploration/learning centers that will incorporate language and literacy into play. Book ideas share for the following Exploration/Learning Centers; Block, Art, Book, Dramatic Play, Manipulatives, Music, Science/Nature, Social and Emotional, Sand and Water, Mathematics, and Writing. Come expand your Children’s Literature knowledge! Bring 3 of your favorite books to share!
