This 2 day course is about DECISIONS and NOT techniques. It is a classroom setting with the use of SIRT Training Pistols. To diagnose what's happening in their scenario, make the correction, and guide them to ONE good FIRST decision. Want to be certified to teach Image Based Decisional Drills "The Class"? Our Image Based Decisional Drills "THE CLASS" stems from our dry practice or live practice Image Based Decisional Drills learning system. This is a well thought out KIT with a deck of 21 Image Cards that provide IMAGES that will help you to recognize danger and to make smart decisions ahead of time. Our image based learning system is another beneficial step on your way to making good decisions quickly. "THE CLASS" offers personal GUIDES to help strengthen your decision process, diagnose what's happening, and make the correction. With the use of an interactive PowerPoint presentation and a 'hands on" prop table, we will guide you to good decisions and then encourage you to PRACTICE DOING THAT! We will measure your decisional process right off the bat with images on the screen and a 10 second timer. FUN WAY TO GET YOUR GEARS TURNING. We will go over the 8 most common "decisions" and the importance of the less popular "9th" option. Each option is discussed in detail. We will visits the of pros and cons, why proxemics are so important, distance relative decisions, capability, tool cycling, learning to "see more", recognizing changes in your environment, pre assault cues, and so much more. We will move past discussions to HANDS ON training with practicing with inert (water) pepper spray units, understanding proxemics, verbal commands focusing on ASK, TELL & MAKE, 911 calls, and more. We will use our custom and unique IBDD OPTION CARDS to help you make decisions quickly, plus learn a few techniques to add to your "tool box". Are you a good witness? What is your moral compass? Do you have altered perceptions? What is your arousal level and at what point can you work through the adrenaline rush and confusion? We will crawl, walk, run and then sprint with quick cognitive stacking of decisions. It is easy for you to pick up an IBDD KIT, read the information provided, watch the videos on the website, order Expansion Packs and then think you are ready to teach another person how to "react and make good decisions". Unfortunately, that is usually not the case, obviously your own background plays a HUGE part in teaching others but there is so much more to coaching, and teaching others how to benefit most from using our IBDD learning system than meets the eye. We encourage you to approach this like you would anything else you want to succeed in....recognize that YOU must study the materials first. YOU must be prepared to answer questions, guide and influence your clients, yet let them experience all that IBDD has to offer. Our Image Based Decisional Drill instructors are more like "guides" to help students before, during and AFTER they have worked through their scenario. The lesson's learned from IBDDIC program will not only be beneficial teaching IBDD but it will be beneficial in many other areas in your career and personal life. After this class you will understand the importance of organization, you will better observe opportunities to make effective decisions or to change to a new solution efficiently and you will be much more involved with your surroundings. The same goes for your students, the knowledge they learn from you in you IBDD class is just the beginning of a long journey so please encourage them to purchase an IBDD KIT or NO KIT to continue their practice at home during dry fire or on the range. REPETITION IS A MUST! Remember, you only get your FIRST experience once. YOU must expect many different decisions and reactions to the image cards...some will be perfect, some, not so much. Some will answer a NONLETHAL problem with a LETHAL solution and vice versa. Some will freeze. Some will never stop asking "well, what if". We supply everything need in IBDDIC. You are required to purchase an IBDD KIT or NO KIT PRIOR TO CLASS for 2 main reasons. So you understand the IBDD learning system. We are teaching HOW to help with decision making, NOT techniques. That being said, of course there will be techniques taught but that is secondary to decisions. You will need to have an IBDD KIT or NO KIT in order to teach others. If you are a training team and have opted to buy one IBDD KIT to teach with AFTER IBDDIC, then ONLY one TEAM MEMBER is required to purchase but you all MUST HAVE READ THE BOOKLET IN IT'S ENTIRETY AND WORKED WITH IBDD PRIOR TO CLASS.
