LEEDS, AL — A 24-year-old Vestavia Hills woman was killed in a two-car crash in Leeds Wednesday morning. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office confirmed that Ariel Collins was killed in the crash, which occurred just before 6 a.m. Wednesday. The incident is under investigation by Leeds police, but the incident report says Collins was traveling eastbound and crossed over to the westbound lane and collided with another vehicle. Collins was taken to St. Vincent's East where she was pronounced dead just after 7 a.m.
