Description

TUSCALOOSA, AL. — Are you an Alabama football fan looking for a gameday buddy? Meet Bama, a fun-loving four-year-old Labrador mix who happens to be looking for a home. Click here to subscribe to our daily email newsletters and breaking news alerts delivered to your inbox and mobile devices for free. You can also support local journalism by donating as little as $5 a month to become a supporting member or by downloading our free Patch mobile app. The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter says Bama is currently in a foster home enjoying all of his favorite hobbies: playing outside, going for car rides, and cheering for the Tide on Saturdays. Bama is heartworm positive, the shelter said, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. The shelter also said with a little bit of treatment, he will be healed quickly. Because of his heartworms, his adoption fee is only $25. Those interested in adopting Bama can contact the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter a call at (205) 752-9101.
