In our continuous effort to maintain transparency, the Raleigh Police Department submits this addendum to the Five-Day Report.
On Thursday, January 13, 2022, the City of Raleigh Police Department filed a petition requesting authorization to release law enforcement recordings of this incident, in accordance with §NCGS 132.1.4A. On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, a hearing was held in Wake County Superior Court via Webex and an order was issued, which authorized the Raleigh Police Department to release videos related to this incident.
