TUSCALOOSA, AL. — The Alabama Crimson Tide was named at the No. 1 team in Tuesday's first College Football Playoff ranking selection show of the 2020 season as it looks to make a sixth straight CFP appearance. The announcement was made live on ESPN as Alabama was joined by No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 3 Clemson and No. 4 Ohio State as the top four teams tapped by the selection committee.
