Description
Meet Peanut Butter the male mouse! He was rescued from a feeder situation due to his genetic obesity caused by his coloration. He was too obese to feed and was surrendered. He is of an unknown age but very likely could be considered a “senior”- that is, he may be up to a year old or more.
Peanut Butter is skittish, and does not like to be touched, but is extremely food motivated and constantly begs for food. While his obesity is genetic and he cannot be put on a diet, he will do anything for a treat and this could certainly be used to gain his trust!
Peanut Butter is currently housed with 2 neutered males, however he is up for adoption solo. If you have exotic mice to house him with, such as African soft fur rats or spiny mice, he will love that, but he cannot be housed with other female mice or unneutered male mice.
Peanut Butter’s adoption requirements is that he be placed in a cage with no less than 30 gallons of space, 6 inches of bedding, an 8 inch wheel, a quality diet, and plenty of toys to climb on and keep him fit. As stated earlier, high priority will be given to an adopter who can provide him with company of other mice!
Will you be the one who lets this chunky boy live out his retirement in his forever home?
I will respond to any email inquiries within 1-3 days!
