RYE, NY — The Rye school district closed Midland School Tuesday due to a confirmed positive case of the new coronavirus.
In a note to the community, Superintendent Eric Byrne said, due to the late notification of the case, the school would not be able to switch to remote learning for the day, myrye.com said.
Byrne said the determination to hold either fully remote or in-person learning for Wednesday will be made during the day Tuesday.
The individual was last in the building Friday and is now in isolation.
