Here is a simple question for you…… Has there ever been a time when America was this f**ked up before in our history? And forget about this party or that party, this is not about ideology, this is about power, big business and……. Wait for it………Money. Before we get into how to fix all of our problems with one action by all American, let’s just list some of our problems facing us right now. 1. MASSIVE DEBT/GOVERNMENT OVER-SPENDING 2. A population that is more divided than ever before in our history. 3. Corporations that put dollars before humans. (Jeff Bezos spends ½ BILLION DOLLARS on a f**king boat!!!) 4. Shortages right now in, Lumber, Steel, Chicken, Gasoline, Chlorine Tablets, Workers… 5. Inflation @ 7% and climbing. 6. Yet another flood crossing our southern Border. 7. A Major Drought in the South-West. 8. Housing Cost sky-rocketing. 9. Medical/Insurance Cost out of control. 10. China one step away from being pretty damn sure they can take us down. 11. The cost of an education. 12. The Drug crisis. 13. Gun Violence, crime, gangs. 14. The climate crisis. And yes, there are even more problems than listed here. Now, who is to blame…….. Who do we point the finger at???? Is it those Damn Democrats??? Or those Damn Republican??? Maybe it’s those Damn stockholders who scream if they are not getting a high enough return on their investments… Well, the answer is, yes, yes and yes And no, no and no. Now, a disclaimer here. If you really don’t want to know who is the problem, stop reading this now and go do something else. The problem is…………. You………. And me…………. And every other American who votes & the Millions who don’t bother to vote. We keep electing, through our votes or lack of votes, the same old, ideologically driven, greedy, power-hungry, perks-addicted group of jackals who have rigged the system so thoroughly, they think they are un-touchable. There is a Reason these 60, 70 even 80-year-old people want to hold onto their power. The sad part is, we can’t even blame them, really. After all, we are the dumb S.O.B.’s that keep electing them, recycling them over and over and over again. I believe the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the results to be different. Their game is more rigged in their favor than the slots in Vegas. (No offense Vegas.) The game is so set against us that we can’t even get rid of them if we wanted to. (Well almost.) You can’t run against them or vote them out. They have too much money, to many powerful allies, (big money) and a willingness to destroy you if you dare challenge them. In other words, we are pretty much f**ked. Except……… There is a non-violent, non-confrontational way to take back our control of our country. But first, let me ask one simple question. When did you decide to elect a POLITICIAN instead of a REPRESENTATIVE? Now as for me, well, I don’t ever remember making that decision. Do you? I’m betting you never did. Being a representative was NEVER meant to be a career. It is supposed to be a service to your country for a term or two and then you go back to your community, your service done and someone else steps up and does their duty. But somewhere the people who make the laws began to understand that they could make laws that were to their advantage……and corruption was born. Power begets Corruption and ABSOLUTE POWER begets ABSOLUTE CORRUPTION. The founding fathers of this country knew how easily the heart of people can be corrupted. That is EXACTLY why they set it up for a person to go to Washington for a term or two and then step aside and let someone new take up the burden and repeat, repeat, repeat. But now, it’s who has the most money, who has the powerful connections, who will the corporations invest in (BUY). It’s no longer about who will do the best job they can for the people they represent, which is all of US. So, by now, some of you, I’m sure have figured out where I am going with this. We need TERM LIMITS. Now, I also suspect you know, as I do that these politicians are NEVER, EVER, EVER going to let us vote on anything like that. But Thank Goodness, WE DON’T NEED THEIR PERMISSION. We can impose term limits ourselves. Yes, we the American People who the government IS SUPPOSE TO SERVE can take back OUR power in one or two elections quite easily. We create a new political party. THE PARTY OF TERM LIMITS. Then, we just refuse to vote for anyone who has been in ANY (including local and state) elected position for 8 years or longer, starting with the next election. Bada Boom, Bada Bing, Bada Bang. And we do not vote for them if they run for any other elected office for at least 8 years. We now have term limits. No riots, no marching, no protests. We took back our power almost without having to leave our couch. There is a reason the President is limited to 8 years. It’s a very good reason and it is right. It does not matter if he is Great, Good or Bad. After 8 they MUST go away. By the same logic, it should apply to EVERYONE who is elected. Here is the best part. All you have to do to join this new party is DON’T vote for ANYONE who has been in any elected position for 8 years or longer. I’m not asking you to change your party or your personal beliefs. This is not about left or right. It’s about our home, our right to govern ourselves and not be treated like we are livestock. I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY WELCOME YOU TO; THE NEW LAND OF THE FREE.
