Looking for musicians who sing harmony

Description
I’m putting a group together that can sing and play dance music for gigs, concerts, showcases, recordings, giggles & grins., and I’m looking for folks who love and can sing harmonies—preferably tenor in males and alto in females,—but if you’ve got the “stuff,” we’ll just rearrange the key or vocals or whatever—easy peasy. I’ll be holding auditions in late February going forward and I’m looking for singers who love singing harmony and backup. If you play an instrument that would be even better: guitar (electric or acoustic,) electric bass, drum kit or percussion, keyboards. Paid gigs will follow almost immediately. Remember: You needn’t play an instrument. And, while I’m on the subject, here are my takes on a few things other posters in the community seem to have had issues with: Age: I don’t care how old you are (as long as you can legally perform in venues where alcohol is served) Sexual orientation: Male, female, binary, non-binary, cis—whatever. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about how you identify yourself; your pronouns might take me a bit of getting used to, but I’ll work with whatever you prefer Substances: As long as it doesn't affect rehearsals or gigs what you put in your body is your own business (Hmmm... this may be subject to change depending on circumstances) Pro attitude: I shouldn’t even have to go here, but equipment, transportation, demeanor, and blah, blah, blah... Although we won’t be a cover/copy band per se, we will be playing a lot of other people’s material, but doing them our way. What this means is that if we’re doing a song by, for example, the Stones and the original recording doesn’t include harmonies, feel free to try adding your own. Or, if it’s an Eagles tune, and you think you can do better than Glenn Frey’s harmony, don’t let me stop you. To paraphrase a sixties’ expression, “If it sounds good, do it.” Depending on who shows up and makes the audition(s) the initial group will be, perhaps, a duo, a trio, a traditional quartet (think “The Beatles,) and whatever other configuration(s) might work. Whichever it is, however, there will be paying gigs almost immediately. Our song selection and arrangements will be influenced and informed by: Buffalo Springfield Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Eagles Green Day Simon & Garfunkel Decembrists Chad Mitchell Trio Beatles Cranberries Bob Seger Creedence Clearwater Revival Grateful Dead And that’s just the beginning. Plus, originals—yours, mine, your best friend’s, I don’t care as long as it fits and it’s good. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, hit the link at the bottom of this page and I’ll send you more details. Cheerio.
