The reconstruction of Maple Road is now underway. Workers and equipment have arrived. The big machines are back in town. We're at the beginning -- but moving forward. The project will take about four months. What are the goals? New underground systems for our infrastructure... Improved walkability and safety for everyone... Comfortable seating areas, new streetlights, cell phone charging stations, and an aligned treescape... Improved on-street parking spaces and convenient sidewalk ramps for people with disabilities... New water mains, sewer lines, electrical system, and so much more! So we'll all have to be patient during this process. Maintain respectful social distancing. Be careful crossing streets near the job site. And please do not feed the dinosaurs. Here's how it will look when it's finished. Free brochures are available, as is FREE two-hour valet parking.
