Dear Neighbors, Today is Thursday -- June 11, 2020 -- around 3:00 p.m. We are coming back to life. It's great to see people playing in the park again. This man told me he was editing his own music. Many shoppers wore masks, but they still looked very stylish. Kids were glad to be out of the house. These men were setting up an outside dining area. It was so good to spend time together. The spirit of Birmingham is strong. People were lined up with respectful social distancing. Hand sanitizer stations could be seen around town. Many stores featured attractive window displays. Construction on Maple Road was moving right along. There were some cool cars in town. This couple was celebrating the lady's milestone birthday. This gentleman was enjoying just sitting in the sun.
