looking for a male to have fun with. In & out of the bedroom. Looking for Christian Drummer and Singer into hard rock with punk and blues influences.Must be a serious Christian! Must be willing to collaborate on some material to bring it alive.I have Stage 4 cancer and was told I have about a year to live. Though I believe my days are numbered by the Lord not man.This is my only Bucket List to be jamming, writing and having some fun when I'm feeling good on my off chemo days.We play a variety of classic progressive rock from Rush, Genesis, Journey, Kansas, Yes, Asia, etc. and we're looking for a lead vocalist that can cover that range. We'll have pretty good vocal support for backing vocals from three other guys that are decent singers. Male or female, just as long as you're into the material. There are not a lot of bands playing the covers we're doing, that's for sure. And we're mainly doing it for ourselves and having fun with it. We're all about 50 or so. We rehearse in downtown Raleigh. Please drop me a line if interested. Male or female.63 yo rhythm player looking for a band looking for a rhythm guitar player. I play electric and 6 & 12 string acoustic.We have a 3 piece at the moment and really need a good lead guy to round us out. We are in our downhill run in life and picking up speed. We love to play and build friendships. We survived our youth but still love our music. We focus on harder side of rock to metal. No thrash or gore! We've been covering bands like ZZ Top, Boston, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Jackel, Kiss, Metalica, Megadeath, Alice in Chains, Puddle of Mudd. We do mix a little lighter stuff in also like John Cougar, 3 Doors Down, and such. We have been leaning in the jazz direction but would like to get a little more diverse: funk, ethiojazz, latin, maybe some surf and reggae. So we need a versatile drummer. Also always looking for horns. A group of rotating musicians, all with jobs and families. Mostly in our 30s and 40s. Laid back but take the music seriously. Just doing our own arrangements of covers and standards for now but maybe more originals down the road, at the moment we don’t have a lot of time to dick around so keeping it simpler. Jam once or twice a month (has been less recently with covid shit). We would like to play some low key gigs eventually.
