TUSCALOOSA, AL. — The Bama Theatre will once against host live music after an extended hiatus, with its third virtual music experience set for later this month. Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports (TTS) will sponsor the event on Friday, Sept. 25, that will feature a live music component. Featured acts will include GrAystone, along with Casie and the No-Joes. TTS says only 250 tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, in an effort to promote social distancing. The event will also be live streamed on the Visit Tuscaloosa Facebook page. TTS CEO Don Staley said The Bama Theatre has been able to successfully enforce a socially distant atmosphere for a few events and expressed excitement for the partnership to bring live music back for the first time in months. "Working with The Arts & Humanities Council and the Chamber to help the The Bama Theatre will be a perfect way to give back to the Tuscaloosa community," Staley said. The Bama Theatre will receive 100% of the proceeds from the event and a donation link will be available during the live stream for those who want to give. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets can be purchased here.
