Description

Need a somewhat car savvy and responsible individual to make some quick, easy cash pulling some small parts off three cars that are located at the U PULL & PAY Colorado Springs located at 3745 S. U.S. Highway 85-87 Colorado Springs, CO 80906. This location has three cars (1984-1990 Dodge Caravan or Voyager) that I need the front brake caliper BRACKETS off of. Not the brake calipers, just the brackets and the bolts. See pictures. You will need only simple hand tools for this job, I've done it many times and it takes maybe 15-20 minutes per car. You will need a large screwdriver, 10mm socket to remove the brake caliper, an 18mm socket (and a breaker bar would be helpful) to remove the 2 brake caliper bolts, and your done! Each car has a left and a right bracket and I need them both from all three cars. The brackets I need are of the single pin design (see pictures), I do not need the dual pin design, just the single pin design. EASY to identify, the single pin bracket has just 1 pin holding on the caliper, the others have 2. The task is easy. You use the screwdriver to pry the caliper slightly away from the rotor so the brake pads are no longer binding. This takes 10 seconds. You then remove the caliper pin with the 10mm socket, this takes maybe a minute or 2. Then you lift off the caliper and let it hang to the side. You remove the two 18mm bolts holding on the bracket, using the breaker bar helps initially, then your ratchet to finish removing the bolts, this is a 5 minute task worse case. and you move to the next bracket. It's going to take less than 15-20 minutes per car typically...if the wheels are already off the car. If not you need a 19mm socket or T bar to remove the wheel lug nuts. Most yards have the wheels and tires already off the car. Most yards want about $20 for the bracket set, sometimes only $15. All three sets will easily fit in a USPS square medium flat rate box that ships anywhere in the USA for about $18, the box is free. So your cost is going to be about (20+20+20+18) $80. The job pays you $50 for your labor and time for each L/R sets with the bolts. So that's $150 plus the $80 for parts and postage for all three sets and about 1 hour of time and effort. Regardless of how many brackets are available I pay $50 per set plus your junk yard parts cost and the $18 postage. Payment will be via PayPal immediately or can be via instant WalMart2WalMart money transfer. If you send me pictures of the brackets from the yard and/or call me when you have identified and pulled them, I will pay on the spot via PayPal before you leave the yard. USE THE CONTACT BUTTON TO REVEAL MY PHONE NUMBER AND CALL OR EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS OR MORE INFORMATION. I JUST NEED THE BRACKETS FOR MY BUSINESS VEHICLES AND IF YOU NEED SOME QUICK EASY CASH, WE ARE A MATCH.
