TUSCALOOSA, AL. — The Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA) will hold a community meeting Monday night for residents of the Fosters, Ralph, Romulus, Jena communities as a Birmingham-based engineering and architecture services firm conducts a feasibility study for a possible activity center in the area. The public event will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the storm shelter behind Myrtlewood Elementary School at 14701 Gainesville Road in Fosters. The agency said the mostly wooded 28-acre site in question is located across from Braughton Park on U.S. Highway 11 in the unincorporated town of Fosters. An online survey is also available and residents can click here to participate. The survey includes inquiries concerning programs, membership fees, travel distance and more.
