TUSCALOOSA, AL. — A woman was injured by broken glass during a drive-by shooting early Thursday evening night at Catfish Heaven - a popular restaurant in Tuscaloosa's West End. You can also support local journalism by donating as little as $5 a month to become a supporting member or by downloading our free Patch mobile app. The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit assumed the investigation from the Tuscaloosa Police Department around 6 p.m. Thursday after shots were fired from a car while in front of the restaurant, which is located in the 2500 block of 21st Street. Two occupied vehicles were hit and a woman inside an SUV was injured when the glass shattered. Investigators said the victim was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center and her condition is not known at this time.
