Fatal Wreck Victim Identified After Crash Near Alberta Baptist

TUSCALOOSA, AL. — A Tuscaloosa man is dead following a one-vehicle wreck Thursday evening on University Boulevard near Alberta Baptist. The Tuscaloosa Police Department on Friday confirmed the victim to be 38-year-old Larson Chermax "LC" McDavid. TPD officers responded around 5 p.m. to the collision and said the driver was the sole occupant of the 2017 F-150 construction truck, which crashed into a utility pole at the corner of 22nd Avenue East and University Boulevard. He was pronounced dead at the scene and it is believed that he may have suffered from a medical condition that caused him to lose control of the truck.
