The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit said in a press release that 28-year-old Bruce Thomas was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a shooting on Dec. 1, when the victim reported being shot at numerous times while sitting in his vehicle.
While the victim was not injured, the vehicle was struck numerous times.
VCU Commander Captain Jack Kennedy said the motive appears to have been a personal disagreement between the victim and Thomas.
"In addition to the new warrant, Thomas had several outstanding writs for probation revocation on previous cases, including robbery and kidnapping, and he is being held on these cases as well," he said.
