Working Country band needs full time bass

Meets

Flowery Branch GA

Description

Established touring classic country tribute needs full time bass player ages 21-50. This is a upper tier gig in terms of the cover band life, pay, venues, etc. We play consistent solid paying gigs all over the southeast and usually to large crowds. Travel is provided hotels are covered when applicable. Music from George Jones, Merle Haggard, Cash, Jennings, Skynyrd and many more. All paying gigs 3-4 hours average. 3 Key things you must possess: 1. A love for classic and 90's country music and professional level bass player skills. This isn't a pickup band its 60+ perfected song setlist, you'll need to not miss any notes during the shows, and learn all the parts of the songs correctly as played on the records. Strong musical retention is going to be needed. 2. Physical health and ability STAMINA and HUSTLE (we load our own PA for many shows and as a paid member you help with that and act as a leader during load in/out not a follower). This is hard work that takes all of us hustling as a team to make deadlines / start times, etc. 3. Complete availability on the weekends for paying gigs. We're a team who works together to ensure we all make a decent yearly living and therefore are required to play a certain number of shows a year. This means if you are chosen as first seat you're probably not going to have time to play in other projects, this is what we do to make a living so there is no toes in approach. 99% of gigs are thurs, fri, sat, sun * If interested send a video of you playing bass. I have to say this time and time again, but any inquiry without a video will not get you an audition. If you don't have a video, record one on your phone. Ideally backup vocals would be nice, but at this point we're simply looking for a solid bass player to be dedicated to the project and travel the south with us paying tribute to classic country music and making good money while doing it.
