TPD Charges Tuscaloosa Man After Reese Boulevard Auto Burglary

TUSCALOOSA, AL. — A Tuscaloosa man was arrested Thursday morning on a single count of breaking and entering a vehicle. The Tuscaloosa Police Department said officers were patrolling Hay Court at 7:40 a.m. when they saw two men arguing, before one of the men told officers he had caught 22-year-old Devante Earl Stephens breaking into his girlfriend's car. He then said he chased Stephens for about a half mile to Hay Court in the 4400 block of 21st Street and was about to call police when the patrol officers arrived.
