Description
Animals to rehome: please read carefully I am moving and don’t have time to waste on questions. Chickens: 8 laying hens all less than 2 years old, 3 Silver Laced Black Wyandotte, 3 Barred rock, 1 Buff Orpington. Still missing some feathers from being with a rooster (rooster is gone) These girls are not laying at the moment; daylight is too short but they will start again as the days get longer. Free if you come get them. Bring something to transport them in. They are tame and not afraid of people but they are not used to being picked up or handled so they will resist. Also, they are in an open-air coop with ceiling rafters for them to roost on. Rafters are less than 6 feet high so if you are 6 feet or taller you may whack your head (which is why I won’t catch them for you!) You can have whatever feed I have left too but it is not much bring a container for that too Fish: in my outdoor pond there a 9 koi, all about 12 inches long, give or take. A nice mix of patterns and colors. There are also about 1,000 rosy red minnows (started as 4) and there may still be a ouaxa map turtle in there but I haven’t seen her in a while. Free if you come get them, bring something to transport them in. I have a net and we can drain the pond as needed if I can find the hose. You can have the feed I have left, not too much but bring a container. Lizard: Savannah Monitor, about 18 inches long 2-3 years old. I raised this guy from a hatchling. He is pretty tame but not used to being handled. Never bitten anyone but his claws are really sharp at the moment and I don’t have time to trim them. He will eat anything live or dead including wet dog food and table scraps (likes left over eggs). Free if you can show that you know how to care for him. Bring something to transport him in. 90% sure this one is male. I hate to get rid of any of these but we are moving out of state and will be in an extended stay hotel for a while so clearly can’t take them. I will not hold them, first responsible person that can come get them, gets them. Add will be updated as animals find homes and will be taken down when they are all gone. phone number is a land line so no text, I won’t get them and can’t respond.
